Edu Recio coordina el equipo Rumbo Aventura y lleva 25 años trabajando en barranquismo, escalada y actividades de montaña. Su manera de guiar se basa en un conocimiento único del terreno, anticipar problemas y adaptar cada salida a las personas que tiene delante.
Participa muy activamente en la Asociación de Guías de la Sierra de Guara (AGSG) y en iniciativas profesionales relacionadas con la seguridad, la regulación de la actividad y la conservación de los barrancos.

Barranquismo - Sierra de Guara
I work in the service industry, so my standards are pretty high and this was my first experience doing this type of activity, so I was a little uncertain on how it would go and what to expect.
From the moment we arrived we felt safe and welcome, the staff was very accomodating and was able to adapt to the individual needs of each member of our group. We had both adults as well children, so this activity can be done with a group of friends or families alike.
The path that we took was breathtaking, we saw things that were straight out of a movie set, it was challenging but incredibly rewarding.
If I could I would give this company a 6 star ratting, for it's outstanding guides, the adventure provided and for the value for your money.
Overall if you are in the region do it otherwise you are missing out.

Great time, great tour. Fun and beautiful scenery. Definitely worth it and Marco was great! (Make sure to bring closed toe shows. water hiking shoes best)

Fue fantástica la excursión. La pasamos increíble. Rubén fue un excelente guía y estuvo todo el tiempo muy pendiente de cada uno de los miembros de mi familia. El lugar es espectacular. Una actividad perfecta para hacer en familia (Nosotros éramos 4 adultos y un niño).

Tuve la suerte de participar en una VÍA FERRATA y bajamos el barranco de La Peonera. Las dos actividades son fabulosas.
Me gustó especialmente la bajada del barranco de La Peonera. Los paisajes son de película.
El exquisito trabajo de los monitores hacen que toda la actividad se realice con unas condiciones de seguridad fabulosas.

La experiencia fue muy buena y para repetir. Fuimos una familia con tres hijos de 8, 10 y 12 años. El guía fue super atento, nos ayudo a niños y adultos a pasar los pasos con facilidad y a disfrutar la aventura! Gracias!

Muy buena experiencia. Marco, nuestro guía nos encantó, fue atento, siempre pendiente de nuestra seguridad y de ofrecernos explicaciones sobre el barranco, la naturaleza y otras curiosidades. También tuvo paciencia y nos buscó los mejores sitios para realizar saltos.
Marcos fue haciendo fotos durante el descenso.
La comunicación con las oficinas fue muy buena y ágil.
Además, ¡el material que usamos estaba nuevo!

We did a canyoning trip in the canyon 'Formiga'. Was so good: jump after slide after abseiling after jump after... and then some more.
The canyon itself is super beautiful too - the foto's you see are actually a good representation of how it looks- super nice blue waters.
It is a little busy, especially during the walk to the canyon you have to wait quite some teams behind otter groups. The canyoning you get in return is worth the wait though!!
Not for people afraid of heights, be aware of this 🙂

We made a very nice canyoning tour in the Formiga Barranca half of august. It was a wonderful scenery and experience with lot's of spectacular views and exercises. Even though boyfriend Valentijn was afraid at start, the level was just right for sportive beginners like ourselves. Our guide Ruben was very careful and reliable. Only thing is we have no personal photos of the tour. So ask before you start that they make some photos. We got photos from the other group so we have some memories. The walk towards the barranca was spectacular too, but very hot. So take enough water and a sunhat to stay cool.

Excellent family activity, where everyone could discover new landscapes and develop their mountaineering skills totally at their rhythm. At every moment of the activity, security comes first, so we finished our day tour with the enormous smiles of those who just discovered that highly technical trekking is accessible to anyone!

A good canyoning session with the guide Jorge on the 3rd of August in Rio Formiga. Jorge is very safe and reassuring, and he provided a good atmosphere in the group. He explained everything both in Spanish and in French. The canyon is beautiful, the sceneries on the way to the start are superb. I definitely recommend!

Being 53 of age and doing this trip with my 25 year old son has been absolutely amazing. An experience of my life. Both beautiful nature, challenging tour through the unbelievable beautiful nature. Combined with a very experienced guide how helped us throughout the critical moments , knowledgable and funny he created a professional but nice team spirit. I can 100% recommend this to anyone that seeks great excitement, fun and nature. Henk

Nos han proporcionado una jornada de aventura emocionante y divertida. GRAN EXPERIENCIA
Hemos hecho el descenso del barranco Formiga, nos lo hemos pasado muy bien y en todo momento nos hemos sentido muy seguros con Alex, nuestro guía, que ha sido muy simpático.

Mañana super disfrutona con Alex haciendo el descenso de formiga.
Siempre con una sonrisa nos ha llevado a buen ritmo y nos ha enseñado un montón!

Escogimos en la experiencia "Barranco - La Peonera" y nos ha encantado!
Ideal para cualquier persona ya que el monitor se adapta al grupo. En nuestro caso, eramos jóvenes 23-24 años y queríamos actividades atrevidas y ha sido brutal: toboganes, saltos de todo tipo y hasta de 10-11 m, algo de escalada fácil y paisajes preciosos. Mención especial al monitor Álex, ha sido uno más en la expedición y eso se nota en la dinámica del grupo, crea un ambiente agradable y divertido.

An incredible experience! It all starts with the super chill and smiling welcome from Noé, the equipment is of good quality and reservations are super easy. Over a week we did three canyons. The first allows the instructor to see your level and thus to suggest activities in accordance with your level. Great atmosphere with Edu and Jorge who use all their knowledge of the canyons to teach you more about the fauna and flora, which is also part of the experience, in complete safety! Once again a big thank you to Noé, Edu and Jorge for a great week! Our vemos el proximo año !! ??

Loved discovering the canyons of the Vero river with a very experienced guide. Our three children (7,9, and 10 years old) had the experience of their life.
